The organizers of the Revolutionary Latino Film Festival have asked MACHETERO to open the festival June 14th @ 6PM as part of a double feature with “El Che” a documentary about you guessed it Che Guevara. El Che will screen @ 6PM followed @ 7:30PM by MACHETERO. A post screening panel and discussion will include me the writer, producer and director of MACHETERO, former Puerto Rican political prisoner and prisoner of war Dylcia Pagan (who is featured in MACHETERO), and a special guest from the Cuban Mission. Following the panel discussion a reception for the panelists with light refreshments will  take place. The film will screen at the Maysles Cinema at 343 Malcolm X Blvd. in Harlem New York (between 127th – 128th Streets).
